It seems as though lots of classic toys, movies and television, that I grew up with, are all making a comeback for my children’s generation. I think that’s so cool that I can share the joy with my children that I experienced when I was little. Take for example, Strawberry Shortcake. Total classic, right?!
I still remember the scented figurines (that I have stashed away for my daughter) and the dolls that didn’t live through cousins playing with them at my grandparents’ home.
Strawberry Shortcake’s been reborn into new animations with the latest DVD, Berry Tales. First up in this fairytale themed collection, Plum learns to believe in herself during the simple play she puts on for a young audience. What a great message to convey as your little girl watches “Snowberry and the Seven Berrykins”. There are days I should watch that for the self-esteem boost!
Huck reluctantly agreed to be in the production of “Berryella and Prince Berry Charming”, only to realize he would be much happier behind the scenes!
In “The Littlest Berrykin”, Strawberry, Lemon and Raspberry star as three princesses on a mission to rule a kingdom. They soon discover they cannot succeed without kindness and generosity. That is definitely something I am happy to have some backup on when it comes to my kids.
These episodes on the DVD all have berry important lessons! With that said, it’s curtain up on good times and friendship!
Stay sweet with Strawberry Shortcake on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.
